Description

Innovative Dr. Lübbe foam core

The Dr. Lübbe Junior youth mattress features an innovative foam core specifically tailored to growing children weighing 15 kg to 70 kg. The optimal combination of three coordinated foam layers not only provides a gentle sleeping experience but also effectively relieves pressure on the body. The adaptive, viscoelastic memory foam effectively prevents uncomfortable pressure points, while the middle layer of cold foam distributes weight evenly across the lower support layer. The point-elastic wave structure, combined with the dimensionally stable HRX foam of the mattress base, supports the healthy development of the spine. The Dr. Lübbe Junior youth mattress stands for maximum comfort and support during your child's crucial growth years. Height: approx. 14 cm

Sophisticated ventilation technology

The horizontal ventilation channels in the mattress core extend across the entire sleeping surface, ensuring efficient air exchange and working in conjunction with the breathable side band of the functional cover. This innovative design not only promotes hygiene but also creates an ideal sleeping environment for many years.

Functional cover ORIGINAL FRESH & DRY

The innovative functional cover Original Fresh & Dry + is particularly breathable and offers extra protection against moisture. The cover is made of 45% TENCEL® fiber and 55% polyester, quilted with a soft climate fleece. The natural TENCEL® fiber is not only gentle on the skin but also ensures high breathability. Specially developed for allergy sufferers: For maximum hygiene, the cover can be washed at 60°C.

Material & Care

Wash

Our mattress covers are easily machine washable at up to 60°C. We recommend using special, fragrance-free baby detergents.

Dry

The mattress cover can be tumble dried or gently air dried. The cover should not be put back on until it is completely dry. Dry cleaning or ironing the cover is not permitted.

Why is good sleep so important?

Good sleep is crucial for a child's healthy development. During sleep, the brain processes new impressions and experiences, which is important for learning and memory formation. Adequate sleep also promotes growth and physical development, as growth hormones are primarily released during sleep. Good sleep also strengthens the immune system and helps regulate a child's mood and behavior.

Frequently asked questions when buying a mattress

Important before use

Does the mattress need to air out before use?
  • To ensure your baby enjoys the best sleeping conditions right away, we recommend opening the mattress 48 hours before use. While airing isn't necessary, this short waiting time allows the foam core to fully expand and provide optimal support.
  • Good to know: All our mattresses are certified according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, which means that all materials used have been tested for harmful substances and deemed safe. Our mattresses are designed to meet the highest standards in material quality and safety, thus providing a reliable foundation for your child's peaceful and restful sleep.
Does the cover need to be washed before use?
  • No, the cover does not need to be washed before first use.
  • For optimal hygiene: Fitted sheets provide ideal protection. To maintain the highest hygiene standards, we recommend using fitted sheets. These not only provide effective protection against dirt but are also easy to remove and wash in the washing machine. Using fitted sheets helps keep the mattress clean and fresh, while also providing a comfortable and pleasant sleeping environment for your baby.
Which safety-relevant instructions must be observed?
  • Never use more than one mattress in the cot, crib or hanging cradle.
  • Care must be taken to ensure that the cot (crib and hanging cradle) is not placed near open flames or strong heat sources, e.g. electric heaters, gas stoves, etc.
  • The mattress must no longer be used if any parts are broken, torn, damaged or missing.
  • Plastic packaging must always be kept out of reach of children or disposed of as recycling.

How do you keep your mattress fresh and hygienic?

What do I need to consider when cleaning the cover?
  • Our mattress covers can be machine washed at up to 60°C.
  • We recommend using special detergents for babies without fragrances. Avoid using fabric softeners.
  • The mattress cover can be dried in the tumble dryer or gently on the clothesline.
  • The cover should not be put back on until it is completely dry.
  • The cover must not be dry cleaned or ironed.
How do I clean the mattress core?
  • If necessary, you can simply dab the mattress core with a damp cloth. Be careful not to damage the inner lining and prevent the mattress from absorbing moisture. This easy cleaning process keeps the mattress core fresh and ready for your baby's restful sleep.
  • Before replacing the cover, allow the foam core to dry thoroughly after cleaning. This will maintain the ideal sleeping environment for your baby and ensure a long lifespan for the mattress.
How can I protect my mattress?
  • We recommend using fitted sheets. These simply slide over the mattress and are machine washable.
  • Waterproof pads can also be used to reliably protect the mattress from moisture. This extra layer of protection is especially recommended when weaning off diapers.
