Our manufacturing in Germany

For us, “Handmade in Germany” means the best workmanship, monitored production processes and tradition. We have followed this philosophy since our company was founded in 1962.

Oeko-Tex Standard 100

This certificate is awarded by the international Oeko-Tex community, of which there are 14 member institutes. In Germany, this is the Hohenstein Institute in Bönnigheim, Swabia. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate is awarded to textiles which have been tested for harmful substances and which remain below the established minimum limit values for substances of concern. Furthermore, there exists a list of banned substances, such as carcinogenic substances and dyes, which may cause allergic reactions. Products are only awarded an Oeko-Tex certificate once they meet these high standards.

Toxproof certification is awarded by TÜV Rhineland, Germany. It is for the certification of textiles and filling materials which have been tested for harmful substances. Materials are tested for allergens and carcinogenic dyes, pesticides, chlorinated benzenes and toluene, organotin compounds, heavy metals, chlorinated phenols and flammability.
